Traditional Breakfast Store (中式早餐店)

One thing that amazed me here in Taiwan, wherever you go early in the morning there are lots of breakfast store selling breakfast from traditional to western like sandwiches. During working or school days, Taiwanese no need to make their own breakfast instead they just buy in breakfast store. Some of the popular traditional breakfast are soybean (doujiang), buns (mantou), steamed buns with filling (baozi), Taiwanese syle pancake (danbing), fried dough sticks (youtiao). Mostly they open from 6 am to 10 am.

I also notice some of these traditional stores open also in the evening from 6 - 9pm. I guess for those people craving for these kind of food, or just simply wants to have light dinner!
My favorite breakfast store in Xizhi - opens 6-10 AM only (Monday - Saturday)
