Love all those red buses. PLEASE keep your wonderful shots of our beloved London coming. This one really represents the color Ann feel of that fabulous city.
That's a really beautiful building, and it's a shame that those green signs are all over it! I would love to visit London some day! Happy REDnesday! Carol
A delightful, interesting photo! Wish we had red double decker buses in Australia! They look cute!

ReplyDeleteWonderful capture.
ReplyDeleteHappy Ruby Tuesday!
Mine's here.
I wax nostalgic when I see photos of London's iconic red buses. It's been at least a decade since I've ridden one.
ReplyDeleteSEEING RED
Tonight, my dear, I’m seeing red—
Or is it puce or rose?
Whatever’s going round my head
Is tingling all my toes.
My heart, my dear, becomes inflamed
With passion sore ablaze;
Perhaps it is because I miss
Your glowing, crimson gaze.
Whate’er the cause, my face is flushed
Like a ripened cherry,
No longer healthy, but inflamed—
See the vessels serry*?
A certain sanguine aftertaste
Is clinging to my tongue,
For I have kissed your ruby lips—
To which the claret clung.
*serry – (archaic) to crowd closely together

Beautiful building.
ReplyDeleteLots of detail around those windows, so much to see up high that it's easy to miss what is on the ground.
ReplyDeleteI like the carved details around each one.
ReplyDeleteThere are many panes in each of those windows! Lots to wash.
Those are wonderful windows - I like the whole building, too! What good fortune to have those buses in the phot!
