Part of the itinerary is to visit Island Safari to experience elephant ride, watch elephant show, and even monkey trick shows (not in this post). I feel so bad looking at these elephants, they looked old and tired. According to one of the blue guys touring us, they're not but they're only spoiled from tourists.
I took this shot when riding the elephant (20 minutes), our elephant is kind of lazy, he doesn't move unless we feed him with bananas.
After the elephant ride, we headed to elephant show where elephants are making tricks like playing, kicking ball, and even playing basketball.
In here, they're showing off...
Here's my husband having elephant massage :)
Have a great week everyone!
An elephant massage! That for me is a first!I love these elephants. They seem to be having fun while putting on a show! My oldest daughter rode an elephant at the Denver Zoo many years ago. She was a brave girl! I always hear such wonderful stories of elephants. They are remarkable creatures. Thanks for sharing today. Anne
ReplyDeleteYour husband is brave! The elephants look sweet. Hopefully they're well treated and enjoy their time with the tourists.

Elephants are all in the news here as our zoo has just announced that they are being moved (but no decision as to where, yet). But this looks like a lot of fun. I have heard that they enjoy the playing with tourists.
ReplyDeleteIt must have fun watching the show. I love the splashes of red.
