Yes for free! Imiss Singapore, the cleanest place I ever visited!
One of the taxi drivers told us,
"The taxi drivers are more afraid of passengers,
than passengers afraid of them."
They are not allowed to ask extra payment (tips),
if ever the passengers can call the authority and
with that, the following day they might not have a job :)
Just a glimpse of culture...
ya..singapore is a nice place..i will be there soon..
ReplyDeleteI'm from Singapore and I'm glad you enjoyed my country. What the taxi driver said is true, public complaints are something the authorities take seriously, and not just the transportation industry.
ReplyDeleteOur rules may seems too rigid to some but at least it help in making us an organised and clean place to live!
What a wonderful idea to offer FREE tours! Singapore must be a lovely place.
