Boat Ride at Floating Market

A very nice experience taking a motor boat so early just to have
breakfast in Floating Market.

A lot of Thai's traditional food...especially fruits...

The boat ride was fun, as if "bumping car", bumping with other boats :)

A Glimpse of Stonehenge

Look down at those birds visiting Stonehenge...

Time to look up! We didn't chased them, they're afraid of us ;)

Actually, the weather was unpredictable when we visited the place,
it was windy, rainy, and too cold...

BM #14 - Reminding Me to Exercise Now

Blue Monday #14 - Exercise Equipment in the Park

If you look at the map, Taiwan is just a very small country! But if you visit Urban places with those Skyscrapers, in the middle of nowhere there are small parks. You'll see people resting, playing, and even  exercising day and night. The government is holding different events to promote Taiwanese Health.

Some of the parks have exercise equipment, basketball and tennis courts.

I used to exercise a lot, I think I need to go back, now! :)

Yellow Public Transportation

After we took the boat ride in floating market in Thailand,
we took this public transportation.

We also call this "jeep" in the Philippines.

Reflection from Beijing

Back Wall of Forbidden City

Our tourist guide told us when visiting the place, just start from the back gate to avoid the crowd. I took this photo when we're still in the van.

Watching the Sky at Menara Tower

I found my ticket earlier, I was there alone on June 7, 2003 at 12:34 pm. My first time to travel by myself and I will never do it again. I remember when I was walking down the street after shopping, there were men sitting in group and started to whistle at me. I walked as fast as I can, and never looked back. :(

Visiting Japan Consul Office in Taipei

Taking MRT from Nangang Station to Nanjing East Road took me about 20 minutes, then I walked for about 5 minutes to Japan Consul Office to apply visa for our (with husband) upcoming cruise trip to Japan this end of the month. It took me 2 minutes inside the office, and just told me to come back the following day for visa pick-up. Simple as that, no fee... knowing that the diplomatic relatioship of Japan-Philippines is at its best.

When I came out of the building, left side caught my eyes with this beautiful Japanese Garden..

 A man-made pond and falls...
with full of fish... very cozy and relaxing...

Three Days in the Philippines

First of all, I would like to extend my appreciation to all the prayers you've offered to my niece Kheila. The surgery was successful and she's now discharged from the hospital. Still, praying for her fully recovery.

For this week I'm sharing with you the Baptismal of Liandrei Luis.

Father in Heaven,
when the Spirit came down upon Jesus  at His Baptism in the Jordan, You revealed Him as Your own Beloved Son. Keep me, Your child,  born of water and the Spirit, faithful to my calling.  May I, who share in Your Life as Your child through Baptism,  follow in Christ's path of service to people. Let me become one in His Sacrifice  and hear His Word with faith.  May I live as Your child,  following the example of Jesus. Amen.

I went home for few days to witness my niece's son Christening, that made me a young grandmother! I'm also a godmother, I preferred to call godmother :) I was so excited to see him, he's so cute!

Welcome to Christian World Liandrei Luis! I Love You!
Luis has a mixture of German-Filipino from his mother, Australian-Filipino from his father, and Spanish-Filipino from us... He's only 2 months here.
Although I missed my flight and that was forfeited, I bought another one way ticket that doubled the price of my original round-trip. It's a waste of money, but bonding with family is PRICELESS.

Welcome to our hometown, Angeles City, Philippines, I grew up in this house...

The day before Luis' Baptism, everybody's busy preparing for the event...

These are some of the give-aways for the sponsors and visitors...

All set up...

This is Luis on the day of his Baptism, he was asleep all along...

When the priest started to pour water on his head, he woke up and just looked around...

Pictorials with Family, and sponsors...

More captured moments with family from Lucena City...

At home at last, for the get-together... to find more about the
reception, just go to my other page Food: Cooking and Capturing!

The day after the celebration... time for me to go back in Taipei!
