Shakadang Trail in Taroko National Park

We're early birds when we arrived to Hualien (Eastern Part of Taiwan ) that's why we had the chance to cross Shakadang Trail or know as Mysterious Valley Trail as fast as we can and I had the chance to take lots of photos without hassles. As soon as we finished hiking, people started coming !

The Shakadang River, the trail goes to a small village

This one is not much scary, but we have to keep our head from hitting the rocks.

Luckily, the weather cooperated that day.
When it's raining or if it's windy, no one is allowed to enter.

  2. This is a very interesting virtual tour. It's good they try to keep the trail as natural as possible. But they must have done a great deal of a job cutting through those rocky sides. Thanks, Lani, for sharing your photos @ Saturday Sightings. Glad to hear you had a holiday with your husband.
I'm soon off to the airport to fly to Manila for my Masters. Hope to see you next week for another sightings again. Miss you @ Tea Talk, too.

    Blessings!
